Numerical simulation of spillage and dispersion laws of hydrogen-doped natural gas within utility tunnels
Abstract
Abstract Hydrogen energy has emerged as the energy option with the greatest promise owing to its clean and renewable attributes. The Fluent software was used to study the effect of diverse leakage directions of the gas pipeline on the spillage and dispersion laws of hydrogen-incorporated gas within utility tunnels. The findings show that the leakage direction mainly affects the distribution of gas concentration. When the leakage opening is oriented on the side far from the horizontal distance of the utility tunnel wall, the concentration distribution of the hydrogen-blended gas leaked out is the most dangerous, and the gas alarm time for the leakage direction is the longest.
