Impact analysis of aircraft high-pressure valve leakage rate on surface overtemperature
Abstract
Abstract To analyze the surface overtemperature issue of high-pressure valves under high-temperature working conditions, this study conducts numerical simulations of flow field characteristics under different external leakage rates based on the analysis results from high-temperature valve experiments. The research focuses on high-pressure valves to obtain comparative results of surface temperature distribution differences under identical working conditions. The results indicate three key findings. First, the surface temperature of high-pressure valves increases with higher external leakage rates. Second, as the valve transitions from a closed to an open state, the influence of leakage rate on reducing surface temperature becomes less significant. Third, precise control of the clearance between the pilot valve stem and the valve sleeve helps lower the temperature at the pilot valve inlet surface.
