Analysis of net present value (NPV) of dimethyl ether heat exchanger based on waste Heat recovery
Abstract
Abstract As a new energy fuel, dimethyl ether (DME) must be forcefully gasified to meet fuel supply demands in industrial combustion systems. This paper proposes utilizing waste heat from the combustion system to gasify DME, thereby ensuring a stable fuel supply. Based on this, we use net present value (NPV) analysis to evaluate the economic performance of the DME heat exchanger system, considering waste heat recovery, and ultimately determine the optimal design scheme.
