Abstract

Abstract Considering the current characteristics of rotary actuators for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) - where there are many types of actuators but small delivery quantities per type - a universal vibration fixture that can be shared by multiple types of rotary actuators is designed to improve the cost-effectiveness of vibration fixtures. Numerical simulation analysis of the vibration transmission performance of the universal vibration fixture is conducted via ANSYS Workbench. The simulation results show that the universal vibration fixture can satisfy the transmission requirements of the sinusoidal vibration excitation, and provide a theoretical basis for the application of the universal vibration fixture and the reduction of vibration fixture costs. Meanwhile, some follow-up work still needs to be carried out in future research, such as the durability and lightweight design of the universal vibration fixture.
