Abstract

Abstract This paper focuses on the welding residual stress and deformation of the welded drive axle housing. Based on the SYSWELD welding finite element software, the welding simulation of the axle housing was carried out, and the influence degrees of different welding currents, welding voltages, and welding speeds on the residual stress and deformation after welding were analyzed. In addition, taking these three key process parameters as variables, a three-factor and three-level orthogonal test scheme was constructed, and the range analysis of the test results was carried out. The results show that the optimized welding process parameters can effectively reduce the welding residual stress and deformation, providing certain guidance for the subsequent optimization of process parameters.
