Abstract

Abstract This paper uses Six Sigma methods to study laser welding issues in battery modules. Measurement system analysis is used to confirm the measurement capabilities of the production site. Process capability calculations are used to evaluate welding quality before and after improvements. Design of experiments (DOE) is used to optimize welding process parameters. Finally, the yield of battery module welding is significantly improved.
