Abstract

Abstract laser selective melting technology is an efficient additive manufacturing process and has been widely used in fields such as aerospace. based on laser powder bed technology, this article focuses on the characteristics of typical suspension bridge structures. it studied the influence of laser process parameters on the forming quality of suspension bridge structures, and verified it through experiments. the results indicate that as the laser power increases, the deformation of the suspension bridge structure shows an increasing trend; as the scanning distance and scanning speed increase, the deformation gradually decreases. when the laser energy density is in the range of 40-60 j/mm 3 , the deformation of the suspension bridge structure is the smallest. the deformation pattern of the experimental structure was basically consistent with the simulation results. the experimental results show that the maximum shrinkage of the outer surface at the height of the suspended surface is about 0.314 mm; the collapse of the suspended surface of the suspended bridge was very severe, with a maximum collapse value of 0.51 mm. these findings provide theoretical support for deformation compensation and allowance addition.
