Coordinated planning of flexible resources for enhancing power system resilience under ice disasters
Abstract
Abstract To enhance power system resilience and reduce load shedding under ice disasters, this paper proposes a coordinated planning model of flexible resources considering ice disaster scenarios. First, based on the spatiotemporal characteristics of ice disasters, an icing thickness growth model and a line breakage failure rate model for transmission lines are established, respectively. Furthermore, an uncertainty set for line failures is constructed using the information entropy method. Then, system resilience is enhanced through the pre-disaster pre-allocation and post-disaster dynamic dispatch of flexible resources, including wind power, photovoltaics (PV), energy storage systems (ESS), mobile energy storage (MES), and line hardening. A two-stage robust optimization model considering both system resilience and economic efficiency is formulated, and the Column and Constraint Generation (C&CG) algorithm is employed to solve the model. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed model is validated on the IEEE 30-bus system.
