Abstract

Abstract In recent years, a lot of research has been conducted in the area of meta-modelling for the fatigue load prediction of wind turbines. To date, however, there have been only a few publications in which meta-models or the training and test data have been published. Especially for studies needing meta-models due to a high number of required simulations, but not focusing on developing the meta-models, it is helpful to use existing meta-models instead of creating new ones. To make this easier in future, this work presents an open-access database for meta-models for fatigue calculations of various reference wind turbines. The reference turbines encompass small onshore wind turbines (750 kW) up to current offshore wind turbines (5 MW) and different substructures (monopile and jacket) in the case of the offshore wind turbine.
