Abstract

Abstract We present results from a TID test up to 100 Gy on LSF0102 voltage translators, intended for use on the new Data-Collector-Transmitter (DCT) boards for the upgraded ATLAS muon spectrometer at HL-LHC. LSF0102 is a MOSFET-based device designed for voltage translation between logic domains. Impedance spectroscopy measurements enabled modeling of the LSF0102 circuit as an RC parallel network in series with a resistor. No variation was found in oxide capacitance and series resistance, while a moderate reduction in the parallel resistance was observed, without impact on device operation. During irradiation, current consumption remained stable. Only a minor threshold voltage shift of 6 mV was observed in the LSF0102 MOSFETs. These results confirm the suitability of LSF0102 devices for use under TID levels expected in the ATLAS muon spectrometer at the HL-LHC.
