Abstract

Abstract High Voltage CMOS sensors are good candidates for tracking detectors in future high energy physics experiments given their radiation hardness and fast charge collection. In hope of reducing power consumption and advancing functionality of chips, an HVCMOS sensor, COFFEE2, is designed using 55 nm CMOS process for the first time. The test results of the COFFEE2 sensor are reported, including the sensor responses to laser and radioactive sources and the in-pixel circuit performance.
