Abstract

Abstract This article aims to analyze bibliometric data regarding disaster management research in Indonesia using data from Scopus. Data were collected from 2015 to 2024 and consist of 610 documents. Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative approach that utilizes bibliographic data such as publications, citations, and authors to identify and mapping the development of scholarly literature in the field. In this study, Scopus data are processed using VOSviewer to reveal collaboration patterns, thematic trends, and keyword distributions. The results demonstrate a significant increase in the number of publications on disaster management research over the years. Recent studies increasingly focus on post-pandemic issues, climate change, food security, and artificial intelligence, reflecting the growing complexity of the field in line with ongoing social, technological, and environmental transformations. Collaborative research with European and African regions offers potential to broaden the landscape of disaster-related scholarship and practice. The implications of this study highlight the significant potential for future disaster management research in Indonesia by bridging gaps in both substantive and methodological approaches. It is expected that the findings will support the development of more effective disaster mitigation and adaptation strategies, as well as provide a research foundation for enhancing community resilience against natural hazards.
