Disaster Innovation for Environmental Governance Smart Technologies for Green Policy Implementation
Abstract
Abstract Framework of sustainability principles should become a foundation for the implementation of the smart technologies for the green policy implementation in environmental governance. The digital transformation of environmental governance relies on smart technologies to enhance the implementation of green policies. The increasing relevance of smart cities and the integration of ICT, IOT, and environmental monitoring tools, make digital transformation provides a pathway for better alignment with environmental governance objectives. Technology should be needed to provide solutions to environmental problems in an area, but in reality, it has not been able to improve and overcome them. This research used qualitative comparative methodology and document analysis, based on Brundtland’s concept, regarding sustainable development that can meet the needs of the present without sacriOicing future generations, the concept of Reynold and W. Seeger was added regarding the policy stages in handling disaster crisis communications in a region. The Oinding highlights the digital divide within global south in disaster mitigation, resulting in many communities being signiOicantly impacted by disasters. Data integration within government smart technology systems is needed to mitigate disasters, as has been the case in China, Taiwan, and Bangkok with geographical similarities to Indonesia.
