Abstract

Abstract This paper addresses the challenges and metrological requirements associated with the calibration of temperature and humidity in cold chain logistics. It focuses on the optimization and development of a cold chain calibration device and validation software. The existing temperature and humidity recorders used for verifying cold chain equipment were upgraded, and supporting calibration software was developed. This system enhances the efficiency of the validation process and automates the generation of validation reports, thereby meeting the static verification requirements for cold chain facilities and equipment. Using the developed cold chain calibration and validation system, empirical verification experiments were conducted on seven different-sized cold storage units from five manufacturers. The system enables automated calculations, provides comprehensive verification information, produces complete reports, and significantly improves verification efficiency. This study presents a reliable method for calibration validation in cold chain systems.
