Stochasticity in memristive systems
Abstract
Memristors play a vital role in linking magnetic flux and charge, with conductance at a specified voltage serving as a key parameter in determining their inherent stability. However, fluctuations in device resistance pose a significant challenge to their efficiency in deterministic memory applications. Understanding the origin of these stochastic variations is essential for uncovering the fundamental mechanisms governing memristive behavior and exploring strategies for effective modulation to enhance device performance.
