Abstract

Abstract In this chapter, Douglas summarises the arguments made in the earlier chapters and offers some comments on their limitations and implications, noting in particular the several points of controversy on which Douglas has remained silent. The chapter ends with some suggestions regarding how discussion of the right against mental interference could fruitfully be furthered, for example, by exploring the relationships between mental interference and other forms of mental influence, such as manipulation and mind control, by drawing out the legal implications of the right, and by determining which beings possess the right.
