Abstract Appendix has four parts. In Section A.1 the reader will find an improved transcription of Grosseteste’s comments on Aristotle’s Physics concerning unequal infinities. Section A.2 makes available for the first time in English the section of William of Auvergne’s De universo containing his discussion of the paradoxes of the infinite. Section A.3 contains an English translation of a section on unequal infinities from an anonymous commentary on Aristotle’s Physics of English origin dating from the period 1250–1270. Finally, Section A.4 contains a selection on unequal infinities from al-Ṭūsī’s The Wrestlings Down of the Wrestler (written ca. 1246–1249).
