Innovation in debt capital markets syndication technology
Abstract
Abstract Banks operating in global debt capital markets (DCM) utilize several core technologies to support their extensive communication internally, with clients and with each other during a bond offering. The sheer volume of transactions, underlying market growth, and regulation demand greater operational efficiency and accuracy. Each form of communication is today serviced by distinct technologies, although the transition from unstructured data to structured data in communications with investors has seen the most significant recent change. While the complexities and technicalities of DCM will remain, technological innovation in DCM is expected to focus on addressing workflow inefficiencies and delivering new data-driven insights.
