Single-session treatment of advanced-stage nasal erythematotelangiectatic rosacea with sustained response dermatological surgery
Abstract
We describe a single-session bipolar hyfrecation procedure. This procedure is a contact-based radiofrequency technique performed under local anaesthesia. The procedure achieved marked and sustained vessel clearance in the management of telangiectasias in erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. Hyfrecation may offer a practical and affordable option, given its low equipment cost and single-session efficacy, for patients in whom light-based modalities are less suitable.
