Aggressive amelanotic melanoma in a patient with oculocutaneous albinism type 1a: a limited response to targeted and immune therapies
Abstract
We report an aggressive amelanotic melanoma in a patient with genetically confirmed oculocutaneous albinism type 1A. The tumour showed poor response to targeted and immune therapies. RNA sequencing analysis suggested a link between pigment loss and programmed death-ligand 1 upregulation.
