Positioning and Ports
Abstract
Abstract This chapter describes the positioning of patients on the operating room table and the location of all port incisions. Differences in camera port positions are described for right-sided lesions and for left-sided lesions. Additionally, the posterior port position is described. Lastly, changes in the utility incision are described for upper lobe lesions and for lower lobe lesions, and common mistakes in port placement are highlighted.
