Stapler Port Approach and Order of Transection
Abstract
Abstract The chapter begins with a table of the recommended approaches and transection orders for each lobectomy (right upper, right middle, right lower, left upper, and left lower lobectomies). The table addresses veins, arteries, bronchus, and fissures and the stapler ports used for the division of each structure. When incisions are made as described in the previous chapter, these angles will provide the safest access to the anatomy.
