Nitrates, calcium channel blockers, sympathomimetics, and anticholinergics are outlined, and it goes on to discuss their mechanisms, indications, and cautions. The chapter also summarizes antithrombotic therapy, including anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, and fibrinolytics, as well as lipid-regulating drugs. Practical considerations for acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions are included.
