Epilogue

Abstract This chapter draws on the enormously rich knowledge collected in this handbook to expand the model of uncertainty regulation proposed by Griffin and Grote. It moves beyond the individual level to also include processes at the team and organizational levels. Chapter insights are incorporated into a common framework to guide future research. The chapter first provides a brief overview of the Griffin and Grote model, then summarizes key points to consider for further development of the model at the team, individual, and organizational levels. Finally, the chapter proposes avenues for future research to support the development and validation of a multilevel model of uncertainty regulation.
