Abstract

Abstract Abstract This chapter overviews the barriers and difficulties related to career development and work inclusion experienced by individuals with disabilities and vulnerabilities. It also describes actions at a micro-, meso-, and macrolevel that career professionals can carry out to promote the design of a career future by people with disabilities and vulnerabilities, based on the recent directions of Life Design and positive psychology. In particular, on a microlevel, examples of career interventions for people with vulnerabilities and disabilities are described; on meso- and macrolevels, additional social advocacy activities are described so that different training, social, and professional contexts allow everyone a quality professional life.
