Abstract

On the Cover: Representative image displaying the selection of barcodes overlaying nerve fascicles in a sample of human neuroma based on H&E staining. This selection was used to identify pathologically-relevant areas that are more likely to contribute to the development and maintenance of neuropathic pain. Pseudo-bulk differential expression analysis of the selected barcodes in painful and non-painful neuromas allowed the identification of differentially expressed genes specifically linked with the presence of pain.
