Abstract

This chapter examines the online teaching, development, and usefulness of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) accounting course employing Experiential Learning Theory (ELT). Despite the abundant literature on experiential learning activities (ELAs) in accounting education, there remains a scarcity of research on their effectiveness in online settings. Feedback on the ELAs was gathered from students through their ongoing reflective journals, revealing that the adapted online ELAs were not only deemed beneficial but also enhanced learning and fostered engagement opportunities. Among these activities, interviews with businesses emerged as the most valuable, offering authentic applications of theory, effective engagement, and a positive student experience.
