Comments on “Optimal Dual Frames of Probabilistic Erasures”
Abstract
In [1], the authors claim uniqueness of the canonical dual as the 1−erasure probabilistic optimal dual under certain conditions.We provide counterexamples and showed that these conditions are insufficient and we correct the main theorem with less assumptions. We also refute a related corollary for tight frames and offer a refined characterization of optimal duals.
