Abstract

As organizations navigate the complexities of modern HR, Agentic AI has emerged as a transformative force. It has evolved from passive assistants into autonomous digital teammates. Unlike traditional automation, agentic systems utilize multi-step reasoning and cross-platform integration to manage end-to-end workflows. They can handle complex tasks such as predictive talent sourcing and autonomous interview scheduling to proactive benefits administration. By shifting HR from reactive task execution to strategic orchestration, these agents reduce administrative workloads by up to 80 % and accelerate hiring cycles tenfold. However, this transition necessitates a paradigm shift toward algorithmic transparency and practical flawless governance to mitigate bias and ensure data privacy. This paper explores the operational efficiencies of agentic frameworks, their impact on employee experience through hyper-personalization, and the essential shift in HR roles from process managers to architects of human-AI synergy.
