Smarter Medic Monitoring System with Pill Dispenser for Patients Receiving Medication
Abstract
Real-time health monitoring technologies enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT) have significantly enhanced human well-being in both urban and rural areas. Many of these methods are ineffective in developing countries such as Bangladesh due to the lack of reliable communication infrastructure. In this work, we provide a real-time, Internet of Things (IoT)-based health monitoring system that enables users to test, track, and report their health status online and from any location. Our proposed Internet of Things-based solution may rapidly transmit sensitive health data to caregivers and medical facilities. The Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), Nodemcu, Arduino UNO, and other modules were used to build the proposed system for detecting room temperature, air quality, oxygen saturation, body temperature, and pulse rate in a smart home setting. The system may access the patient's historical health data. We tested our approach with a few tests, and it works smoothly and accurately. The proposed strategy has great promise in the towns and villages of emerging countries. This contains a pill dispenser.
