Abstract

Air Force operations in heavily contested locations use network-centric combat, upgraded sensor technology, and real-time data interchange. Latency, bandwidth, scalability, and endurance concerns plague traditional military communication systems in fast-paced conflict. This project improves network resilience and real-time data transfer for air force safety using 5 G communication technologies. Due to its high data throughput, low latency, mass device connectivity, and network slicing, fifth-generation wireless technology is suited for mission-critical security applications. 5G’s adaptive networking, intelligent traffic management, better encryption, and secure infrastructures may help the Air Force communicate in perilous situations. This study examines how 5G networks affect aviation’s human and unmanned systems, situational awareness, intelligence sharing, command and control, and real-time cooperation. This study examines the operational benefits, resilience, security, and system architecture of the Air Force 5 G secure communication framework. Tough missions require data security, quick decision-making, and efficient operations. Studies show that secure 5G-enabled technologies boost mission effectiveness and operational supremacy by improving communications reliability, responsiveness, and agility. This study covers the 5G’s effects on air force safety and robustness.
