Modeling and Performance Analysis of Hospital Resource Management System Based on Hybrid Networking Architecture
Abstract
With the continuous development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, this technology has become a catalyst for the informatization and intelligence construction of various industries, especially playing a vital role in the informatization construction of hospitals. How to utilize IoT technology to enhance the management model of hospitals and how to achieve information exchange between things and people, as well as among things themselves, have become issues worthy of study. Aiming at the problems such as the fragmentation of medical equipment, the low interoperability of data semantics, and the uneven allocation of resources in the hospital network in the informatization construction of hospitals, this paper solves the above problems by introducing a new LoRa-Wi-Fi architecture strategy. This architecture combines the wide coverage and low power consumption characteristics of LoRa technology. By connecting a large number of distributed medical sensors (such as infusion pumps and temperature patches) and then leveraging the high bandwidth feature of Wi-Fi technology to connect key medical devices (such as monitors and mobile PDAs), this integrated LoRa-Wi-Fi backbone network ensures the comprehensive and reliable connection of all hospital assets. The simulation results show that the hybrid architecture design is superior to the traditional architecture. It can increase the data packet transmission rate by 15%, reduce the average endto-end delay by 30%, and decrease the bed turnover time by approximately 22%. This research provides a theoretical model and practical basis for building an efficient and reliable Internet of Things system for smart hospitals.
