Abstract

This article describes a software model of a LoRa (Long Range) radio transmitter implemented in GNU Radio. The article presents two functional block diagrams. One of them describes a built-in module developed by the creators of GNU Radio, while the other provides a detailed explanation of the internal stages of signal generation according to the standard. The article compares the two diagrams and provides a detailed analysis of their operation. It also provides the time and spectral characteristics of the transmitted signals, as well as the results of testing the models for functionality by demodulating the signal.
