Abstract

This paper outlines the development of a sophisticated Anklet Monitoring System designed for home confinement and rehabilitation, utilizing Geofencing and GPS technologies. The goal is to improve public safety, enforce legal restrictions, and support rehabilitation as an alternative to traditional imprisonment. The system ensures adherence to court-mandated home detention and incorporates tools for behavioral tracking and health monitoring. Features include real-time location tracking through Geofencing, health assessments, and tamper detection, all integrated into a seamless user interface. Personalized Geofences and two-way communication between authorities and monitored individuals promote compliance and accountability. This cutting-edge solution reduces incarceration costs, alleviates pressure on the justice system, and enhances rehabilitation outcomes. The system has proven to be reliable, accurate, and well-received by users, representing a notable step forward in the management of criminal custody.
