Abstract

This paper presents a 24-CH BMIC with sub-1mV accuracy and enhanced fault detection for EVs. Dedicated bipolar-sampling ADCs enable simultaneous measurements across -2 V to +5 V input ranges, supporting busbar fault detection. Bipolar operation uses only 12 V-rated MOS through active body biasing and clock doubling. Calibration engines correct for CH-dependent gain variations and input offsets. Fabricated in 0.13µm BCD, the BMIC achieves sub- 1 mV accuracy across -2 V to +5 V and -40° C to +130° C.
