35.5 Fully Integrated Backscattered WiFi 802.11b Transmitter with Active Harmonics and Image Rejection for 30dB IRR and 36dB HRR at ${0. 8 8} {\mu} \mathrm{W}$
Abstract
A sub-$\mu \mathrm{W}$fully integrated backscattered 802.11b WiFi transmitter is introduced with active image and harmonics rejection for common dense wireless environments. Rejection is achieved via time-domain complex filters, and oversampling with sequential RF switch enablement (no digital filter). Temperature event-driven calibration adjusts the underlying pulse basis and programmable complex impedance. A 22 nm test chip shows 30 dB IRR$(12 \text{dB}$better than prior art in Fig. 35.5.6), 36dB HRR (not shown priorly).
