A 1.09e − -Random-Noise 1.5μm-Pixel-Pitch 12MP Global-Shutter-Equivalent CMOS Image Sensor with 3μm Digital Pixels Using Quad-Phase-Staggered Zigzag Readout and Motion Compensation
Abstract
A quad phase-staggered digital pixel sensor with a$1.494 \mu \mathrm{m}$pixel pitch featuring a 1.09 e-rms RN, delivering a total resolution of 12 MP composed of four 3 MP sub-frames is presented. A single ADC is shared by a$2 \times 2$pixels sequentially digitized, enabling optical flow extraction using two-stage deep burst super-resolution framework that incorporates a U-Net-based Quad-Bayer Re-mosaic module, extending the 12 MP resolution up to 48 MP while providing de-noising, motion compensation.
