Abstract

Beamforming in 5G technology offers exciting possibilities, particularly in applications such as imaging and tracking. This work presents a demonstration of a monostatic setup utilizing and comparing the Ettus USRP X410 and X440 along with specialized beamforming antennas. The aim is to leverage beamforming techniques to explore the surrounding environment and reconstruct a detailed image of it. The demonstration operates within Frequency Range 2 (FR2), specifically at a center frequency of 28GHz, using 5G New Radio (NR) signals.
