Output Control Method for Dual-Receiver Dynamic WPT System Based on Optimal Efficiency and Sliding Mode Observer-Enhanced Model Predictive
Abstract
The dual-receiver dynamic wireless power transfer system offers greater spatial design flexibility and diversified output characteristics. This paper addresses the critical challenge of cross-coupling at the receiver end in dynamic dual-receiver wireless power transfer systems by proposing a novel decoupling control method. An overlapping decoupled receiver coil structure is employed to achieve decoupling between receiver coils. The control method proposes an optimal efficiency-based output voltage combination scheme, integrating a sliding mode observer for state estimation with a model predictive controller for constant voltage output. A sliding mode observer and model predictive control are employed to achieve constant voltage output without the need for current sampling. An experimental platform with an output power of 360 W was constructed. Experimental results demonstrate that the output voltage fluctuation rate does not exceed 2.5%, and the system achieves an optimal efficiency of 90.4%.
