Dynamic Feedback Stabilization of Switched Systems With Limited Communication Capacity
Abstract
This paper delves into the issue of exponentially asymptotically dynamic feedback stabilization of switched systems with aperiodic sampled-data, taking limited communication capacity into account. Bearing the upper bound on communication bit rates in mind, an event-triggered mechanism, which rules out Zeno behaviours, is put forward to determine the sampling instants and the transmission bits with a lower bound that ensures asymptotic stability at a prescribed convergence rate for switched systems. The control strategy, which not only aims to minimize the number of transmissions but also takes the limited communication capability into account, is an emulation approach where the controller gains have been fixed in advance and the event-triggered rules have to be designed. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated on the presented simulations and its applications in single-link robotic manipulators.
