Abstract

Semantic similarity is explored as a novel dimension for enhancing physical layer security in wireless transmission systems. A new semantic-aware security model is proposed, in which transmitted signals are adaptively shaped according to their semantic alignment with the legitimate receiver. By embedding semantic similarity into the signal generation process, the proposed approach inherently limits information leakage to unintended receivers without relying on artificial noise, secret keys, or additional power. Analytical insights and numerical results demonstrate improved secrecy performance compared with conventional physical layer security schemes.
