Abstract

Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) has become a key technology for enabling joint data transmission and environmental sensing in future wireless networks. This letter investigates target tracking in a multi-static ISAC system with network-assisted full-duplex, where all access points are equipped with half-duplex transceivers and dynamically assigned downlink or uplink duplex modes by a central processing unit. To enable target tracking, a low-complexity delay–Doppler extraction method based on two-dimensional fast Fourier transform with spectral peak refinement using Quinn’s method is developed, and the multi-static measurements results are fused via an extended Kalman filter. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves reliable tracking performance.
