Abstract

Cybersecurity is a crucial topic in modern and future applications ranging from Internet of Things (IoT) to healthcare and biomedical devices, from Industrial to transportation, from manufacturing to critical infrastructures, such as power plants and smart grids. CISCO Systems gives a possible definition of cybersecurity: the practice of protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks. These cyberattacks are usually aimed at accessing, changing, or destroying sensitive information; extorting money from users through ransomware; or interrupting normal business processes [1].
