Abstract

The growing application of solar energy is quite important. Changing the duck curve or the power system net load profile. Duck curve is used to illustrate the operating difficulties caused by low demand before daylight and an increase in demand in the evening, emphasizing the importance of flexibility, resource allocation, and dependability. The present post explains in great detail the duck curve, along with its interpretation and the difficulties it presents. presents the ways to map its severity and measures to counteract its impacts. We have examined the technologies of the flexible closely. generation, power storage, demand response, probabilistic modeling, and assessment of flexibility. This analysis provides recommendations for future directions in terms of reliability and sustainable grid integration, while also highlighting research gaps.
