Toward the Performance of Satellite Communications via Dynamic Spectrum Control Transmission Scheme
Abstract
With the advent of sixth-generation (6G) technology, the integration of satellite communication systems with compute first networks (CFN) is becoming increasingly seamless, aiming to solve the surging demand for computing resources in the 6G era. However, the complex spectrum environment and hostile wiretap have seriously threatened the security of satellite information transmission in CFN. In this paper, a dynamic spectrum control (DSC)-based transmission scheme is proposed to improve security in satellite communication networks. By leveraging the concept of cryptography, the DSC-based scheme can generate a set of sequences through the execution of iterative processes and performing a series of mapping operations. To make the DSC sequence (DSCS) exhibits comprehensive performance, an equivalent design principle is proposed to illustrate the sequence generation is equivalent to the encryption process. Furthermore, an analysis of collision probability during data transmission is conducted to derive the formula for the secrecy rate of the DSC-based scheme employing DSCS. Simulation results show that the uniformity, randomness and complexity of DSCS outperform those of the widely used sequence with variable parameters. Meanwhile, the security performance of the DSC-based system is proved, which indicates that the secure transmission can be realized through the application of our proposed DSCS. Hence, the DSC-based scheme could be applied to satellite communication to improve the security of the connection with consumer electronics.
