Abstract

A correspondence has been published to comment on the recently published paper “Near-Field Prediction in Complex Environment Based on Phaseless Scanned Fields and Machine Learning” by (Wen et al., 2021). The correspondence points out three comments: the consistency of the multipole expansion employed, the format and interpretability of the obtained artificial neural network model, and the relative accuracy of predicted emitted fields between the modeling methods. In this correspondence, we provide our replies to the raised issues.
