Abstract

This article investigates resilient adaptive event-triggered (RAET) control for networked power systems under the influence of aperiodic denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. The primary objective of this article is to achieve better control performance while reducing communication load. First, a switched networked control system is established to characterize the effects of aperiodic DoS attacks on networked power systems. Second, a grey wolf optimizer (GWO)-based RAET control scheme is developed to mitigate the impact of DoS attacks and minimize unnecessary transmissions, with an adaptive threshold tuned based on control performance. Third, a matrix-separation-based inequality is developed, enabling a less conservative and computationally efficient co-design of the RAET parameters and control gain. Finally, case studies are carried out to demonstrate the efficacy and scalability of the design methods.
