Decoupled Modeling and Direct Power Distribution Control of Multisource Inverter via Double Synchronous Coordinate Frame
Abstract
The multisource inverter (MSI) is a high-efficiency interface for hybrid electric vehicles due to the removal of intermediate dc-dc converters. However, it is challenging to simultaneously achieve motor control on the ac side and power distribution on the dc side in the MSI, due to the absence of dc-dc converters. Given this, this paper proposes a decoupled modeling and direct power distribution control scheme of MSI via double synchronous coordinate frame (DSCF) to realize power flow control on the dc side and motor drive control on the ac side simultaneously. In the proposed scheme, a decoupled model with DSCF is established, where the MSI is considered as two sub-inverters, each managed by a synchronous coordinate frame. Direct power distribution schemes are developed by employing the extra degree of freedom provided by DSCF, where the motor drive control on the ac side is achieved by controlling the sum ofdq-components of synchronous coordinates, and the power distribution control on the dc side is achieved by controllingdq-components of the sub-inverters. With the proposed scheme, both motor drive control on the ac side and power distribution control on the dc side are regulated in direct current quantity, simplifying the MSI control scheme design and enabling rapid dynamic performance. The principles, implementation, and power distribution range of the proposed scheme are analyzed in detail. Finally, the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed schemes are demonstrated by experimental results.
