Decentralized Event-Triggered Quantized Control for Cyber-Physical Systems Under Multiple-Channel Denial-of-Service Attacks
Abstract
This article addresses the problem of event-triggered quantized control for cyber-physical systems under multiple-channel denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, which independently affect each communication channel. First, to conserve communication resources, a decentralized event-triggered scheme (ETS) with quantization is proposed. Specifically, a transmission interval bound is introduced in the decentralized ETS to reduce the transmission frequency, and an adjustable parameter is designed for the quantizer to decrease the number of bits. Second, the DoS intervals are redefined by applying the transmission interval bound. Subsequently, the transmission interval bound is adopted as the update interval of the controller, and an attack switched mode is developed based on the multiple-channel DoS attacks, thereby designing a control strategy. Furthermore, based on Lyapunov theory, sufficient conditions are derived that reveal the relationship among the eventtriggering parameters, quantizer parameters, and attack intensity, ensuring the closedloop stability of the system. Finally, a numerical example is employed to demonstrate the feasibility of the presented approach.
