UAV-Assisted Dynamic Distributed Antenna System for Integrated Sensing and Communication
Abstract
This paper proposes a dynamic distributed antenna system (DDAS), where unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are employed as the access points (APs). The Cramér-Rao bound (CRB) and the achievable rate are firstly derived. By dynamically adjusting the deployment of the UAVs, the CRB and achievable rate of the DDAS are optimized. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed DDAS outperforms the traditional centralized antenna system (CAS) in terms of both sensing performance and communication performance. Besides, simulation results reveal that the necessity of striking an optimal balance between the communication and sensing performance according to the varying demands of the application scenarios.
